Important Note For 'Same Day' Online Bookings
For same day bookings, it is essential that the driver (027 492 7488) or the office (03 768 0028) is contacted to confirm the booking. Please do not send TEXT messages to the driver.
- West Coast Shuttle cannot take responsibility for unconfirmed bookings.
- Failure to make contact to confirm the booking means that the booking is not confirmed and the driver will not be aware of your booking.
- There is no cell phone coverage for 1 hour travel either side of Arthur's Pass.
- If you have an unconfirmed booking with West Coast Shuttle and wish to travel, then please make yourself as visible as possible to attract the drivers attention.
Comment On Return and Discount Fares
To receive the discounted price for the return fare it must be paid in full before date of travel, no other discounts apply.
Please add return date in the comment box if not for the same day return.
The date for travel using a Return Fare booking is transferable to a different date but may incurr a penalty of 50% if less than 12 hours notice is given
The return fare is non refundable.
Discounts off the standard fare are as follows:-
- 10% for Senior Citizens (65 years or older or'NZ SuperGold Card holders', 'Seniors card', Fulltime TertiaryStudents with current ID,YHA and BBH members (current ID Required).
- 50% for Children less than 14 year's old if accompanied with a full fare paying adult.
- One fare for any or all zones for Unaccompanied Children (subject to indemnity form being completed).
- West Coast Regional Council Total Mobility Vouchers are accepted with one voucher to be used for each direction. Each voucher has a maximum value of $15.00 of the applicable fare

Fare Structure
Fares effective 01 November 2009
Minimum cost is $26.00 when your travel is within one 'zone' of
- Christchurch / Springfield, Greymouth / Arthur's Pass or
- Springfield / Arthur's Pass.
Travelling across two zones $36.00
- Greymouth / Springfield or Christchurch / Arthur's Pass
Travelling through the three zones $46.00
- To travel within the three 'zones' Full fare of $46.00
- Greymouth / Christchurch or Christchurch / Greymouth.
Return travel discounted fare (must be booked and paid for prior to date of travel)- $80.00
Unaccompanied Children $37.00
Payment Policy Payment is required prior to travel Credit card will not be accepted by the driver unless by prior arrangement with the Management of West Coast Shuttle 2007 Ltd A surcharge is of $3.00 per person is added to all persons either being picked up or droped off at the Christchurch Airport.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings can be rebooked for another date only once and at no charge provided 12 hours notice is given. failing to meet the 12 hrs notice may incurr a penalty fee of 50%
Cancellation more than 24 hours incurr a penalty of 10%
Cancellation less than 24 hours incurrs a penalty of 50%
Cancellation within one hour of departure time penalty of 100%
No shows also 100% penalty (no refund or transfer of booking)
Any refunds will be credited only to original credit card number
Terms & Conditions
For return journeys you are booking the outward leg only. Please enter the date for the return journey in the Comments box.
As the road crosses two Alpine passes, West Coast Shuttle 2007 ltd cannot make gaurantee the arrival time of any of its schedules and shall not be liable for any damages due to delays.
We recommend that you have adequate travel insurance particularily during winter months.
Effective from 21 Nov 08
For all Passengers to be dropped off or picked up at the airport, a surcharge of $3.00 per person will apply.
Effective from 19 May 2009, All passenger drop off and pick ups will be at the Northern end of the International Arrivals Hall. This is for all passengers both Domestic and Internation travelers.
